Seth Rollins signs new long-term contract with WWE

Seth Rollins is one of the best wrestlers in the current wrestling industry. He has been in the wrestling industry for so long since 2005 and has been in WWE since 2010. Rollins holds some of the monumental records in his arsenal, where he is a 14-time champion in WWE. He is the second wrestler to become the two-time Grand Slam Champion after The Miz.

Rollins is currently on hiatus for his torn MCL surgery and is absent from WWE for rehabilitation. It was previously reported that Seth Rollins’ contract is said to expire in just a few months, but he hasn’t signed a new deal yet. However a recent backstage report reveals a major update on his contract status.

Seth Rollins signs a new WWE contract

According to Fightful Select’s latest report, Seth Rollins has re-signed a new deal with WWE. It is reported that the new contract is a multi-year and a big money deal. However there aren’t any accurate details about how long his new deal is and how much his contract is worth in his new deal.

Sources close to WWE reported that, “They’re not going to let him go”. However there is a talk among WWE higher officials that they wished the deal had been finalized sooner.

Although he signed a new deal after a long wait, The Visionary already hinted that he will always be there with the company, claiming WWE is his home.

Rollins in a previous interview with Fightful in February 2024 said,

“It’s all there in writing. We’re going to get a new deal. Something is going to get worked out. WWE is my home. I love this place. I love this industry. I’d like to spend more time with my daughter as she gets a little bit older, but at the end of the day, I want to stay here. I want to be here for the rest of my life. I love this place.“

“I am sure that the powers that be feel the same way about me. Otherwise, we wouldn’t be sitting here with this title on my shoulder. I’m sure the compensation will be fair and just,”

Although Rollins signed a new contract, there isn’t any update on Becky Lynch’s contract status, as both their current contract expires on the same time.
