2024 WWE Draft: When, where & everything you need to know

WWE Draft is a process of refreshing the WWE rosters, by trading WWE superstars from one brand to another, primarily between Raw and SmackDown. WWE introduced the brand split in 2002, to extend the company into two brands by introducing SmackDown as the new roster.

The WWE Drafts had played a major role in the company and had brought a number of changes to the company including the brand exclusive superstars, exclusive championship titles, wild card rule, brand supremacy, exclusive events, separate managers, commentators and much more.

So far the company has hosted 17 WWE Drafts and this year marks the 18th traditional Draft. Being in the Draft season, here is everything you need to know, inculding the date time, telecast details and the participating brands.

When is WWE Draft 2024?: Date & Start time in India

The 2024 WWE Draft is all set to take place for two nights. Night 1 of the WWE Draft will take place on the April 26, 2024 episode of SmackDown at the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. Night 2 of the WWE Draft will take place on the April 29, 2024 episode of Raw at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri, United States.

Indian fans can watch the 2024 Draft Night 1 & Night 2 on April 27, 2024 (Saturday) on SmackDown and April 30, 2024 (Tuesday) on Raw at 5.30 AM IST. You can watch the live action on TV which is broadcasted on Sony Sports Ten 1 and Sony Sports Ten 1 HD channels. If you are a premium user, you can stream the show live on the WWE Network.

The shows can also be streamed live online on Sony Liv, Jio TV, and Airtel TV for free. Exclusively for Indian fans, WWE shows can be viewed in Hindi commentary on Sony Sports Ten 3 and in other regional languages on Sony Ten 4 and Sony Ten 4 HD.

Brands Participating

Similar to the previous year’s Draft, Raw and SmackDown will be taking part in the WWE Draft, with NXT stars moving to the main roster. However the backstage reports suggest that people from the main roster also have the chance to move to NXT.
