Will CM Punk appear at WWE Backlash 2024 in France?

Despite being injured “The Best in the World” has been a part of ongoing WWE storylines

CM Punk made his WWE return at Survivor Series 2023 and made a huge impact in the pro-wrestling industry. Although he made a huge return, he injured his right tricep muscle and went on hiatus for a long time, which he suffered during his in-ring return at Royal Rumble 2024.

Punk however managed to appear on the road to WrestleMania on a few important occasions and at WrestleMania 40 to cost Drew McIntyre’s Championship. Punk showed up the following night to cost Drew’s title opportunity again. 

The Best in the World was not seen then, however appeared on both the nights of WWE Draft and cut a major promo on his ongoing storyline with Drew McIntyre. Although Punk was injured he never missed an opportunity to show up on big occasions. Now fans are wondering if they could see CM Punk at Backlash 2024 in France. Here we take a look at CM Punk’s status for WWE Backlash 2024.

CM Punk’s Backlash 2024 status

CM Punk is not advertised for the upcoming 2024 Backlash pay-per-view in France on May 4, 2024. However there is a rumor around the internet that CM Punk and John Cena are in France. However the rumor turned out to be fake as Punk’s photo was claimed to be taken in the USA on the road to WrestleMania 40. However, Cena is reported to be having an ongoing Hollywood shoot in France.

It has now been confirmed that Cm Punk and Big E will both be a part of the Backlash 2024 pre-show alongside Jackie Redmond.

Cena is currently not scheduled for the show, however there are a number of WWE Superstars scheduled to be in France this weekend. Superstars including Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, AJ Styles, Damian Priest, Jey Uso, Randy Orton, Bayley, Bianca Belair and more are scheduled to be at Backlash France.

A number of WWE Stars are also booked for the May 3, 2024 episode of SmackDown, which is also set to happen one day prior to Backlash.
