Upcoming plans for Jade Cargill in WWE: Revealed

Jade Cargill made the biggest decision of her career by jumping from AEW to WWE in August 2023. Cargill however had a long wait and made her debut at Royal Rumble 2024, which turned out to be impressive. The Storm has been in the backstage of SmackDown for months teasing and negotiating contracts with SmackDown General Manager, Nick Aldis.
Jade finally signed the SmackDown contract just a week before WrestleMania 40 and eventually made her WrestleMania debut by teaming up with Bianca Belair & Naomi to defeat Dakota Kai, Asuka & Kairi Sane of Damage CTRL. As WWE enters a new era, the upcoming plans for Jade Cargill have been revealed.
Jade Cargill’s upcoming plans
According to the Wrestling Observer Daily Update, Jade Cargill will be in action in the upcoming WWE Live Events this weekend.
Wrestling Observer report, “Randy Orton vs. Solo Sikoa is scheduled as the main event for the house shows this coming weekend. Jade Cargill will also be wrestling on the shows and Bayley vs. Iyo Sky is scheduled.”
Jade Cargill is currently advertised for the April 19, 2024 episode of Friday Night SmackDown in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She will also be in action on April 20, 2024 event, ‘Saturday Night’s Main Event’ in Erie, Pennsylvania & on April 21, 2024 event, ‘Sunday Stunner’ in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The report also reveals that the upcoming live events will be featuring matches such as Randy Orton vs Solo Sikoa and Bayley bs Iyo Sky. However Jade Cargill’s opponent is not announced yet.
Cargill on WrestleMania 40 fallout episodes, faced Chelsea Green on Raw to end the match in a 32 second squash match, faced Chelsea Green & Piper Niven on SmackDown teaming up with Bianca Belair to win. Based on it however, we could speculate that Jade Cargill will be making her move to capture the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship by teaming with Bianca Belair.
In a recent SmackDown Exclusive Interview, Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill spoke about their successful partnership and spoke about making the next move of clinching the tag team gold.
Belair and Jade said, ”It’s just natural. It’s just easy, and you want to talk about a match that just had, let’s move to the next one. I know, I know, but it was just easy. I mean, peanut butter and jelly. We just go out there and kill it.”
